Johnathan Tembo holds a Certificate in Human Rights, Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB), Masters of Laws Degree in Commercial and Corporate Law (LLM) and he is an Advocate of the Superior Courts for Zambia. Mr. Tembo is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (MCIAab) and the Law Association of Zambia.

He is also a Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public. He previously worked as a Projects Officer at Zambia Civic Education Association ( an NGO dealing with Human Rights with specific interest in Children’s Rights), an Advocate at the Messrs KBF and Partners Legal Practitioners, State Advocate with the Attorney General’s Chambers and Assistant Senior Research Advocate with the Judiciary of Zambia. He has been an Advocate of the High Court of Zambia since 2015 with experience in Litigation in civil, commercial and criminal law as well as mediation and arbitration.

Prior to his joining Linus & Partners - Legal Practitioners, Mr Tembo worked as a Judges Research Assistant at the Industrial Relations Division of the High Court where he was exposed to a wide range of labor matters and the Commercial Division of the High Court where he dealt with commercial matters. Mr Tembo is also a part-time lecturer in Public International Law at the University of Lusaka.
